I pray that wherever you are in relation to your dreams – whether putting them to bed or waking them up – crying out for new visions or mourning the death of old ones – I pray that you would endure…

Not just in terms of putting one foot in front of the other (that’s survival), but in terms of first love – the endurance of the heart.  Specifically I pray that…

Mourning and grief will have their say as you confront them, but that they would give way to the joy of the Lord, which is your strength…

Yearning and burning for dreams yet to be realized would keep faith, courage, and vision alive, despite the temptations to give up or despair…

Hope and healing would bridge the distance and space between your reality and your destiny as you continue to press on against the disappointments and the waiting…

Expectancy and confidence would adorn your thoughts as you confront reason after reason to become cynical or fearful…

Assurance and peace would grace your path as you continue to follow what is true – and that holding on to truth doesn’t mean losing your heart in the process…

Renewal and awakening would call the forgotten places, the dark places, or the tired places in your heart to open up and come alive again.  And finally I pray that…

Trust and time will continue to build one another up as they dance together in your heart – that as long as time remains, trust breathes eternally – and as long as trust endures, time still sings the song of forever.

Trust and time dancing together . . . what a wondrous image, Andy! May it be so for us all as we follow God’s lead in the dance which is our life.
Blessings!

“Renewal and awakening would call the forgotten places, the dark places, or the tired places in your heart to open up and come alive again.” Thank you for including that line in your prayers. It’s just what I need this day. Keep posting!
