God often speaks with an inside voice.
In fact, that’s His preferred method of communication.
Quiet.
Still.
Small.
It requires that you listen carefully, and in great faith.
Of course, there are different kinds of inside voices.
The library voice.
The completely wordless, nonverbal “voice.”
The courtroom voice.
The party voice.
Each has its own tenor, style, and volume.
God’s inside voice communicates respect and kindness.
He’s aware of other voices in the room and will not compete for your attention.
He reserves His voice for those with ears to hear and hearts to follow.
Shhhhh.
Listen.
