So Jesus said to them, “For a little while longer the Light is among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you; he who walks in the darkness does not know where he goes (John 12:35).
There is clarity (Light).
There is opportunity (a limited time).
There is action (walk).
Clarity without opportunity calls for waiting, not walking.
Opportunity without clarity calls for caution and connection.
When clarity and opportunity converge, this calls for action.
Act without clarity or opportunity, and your world will be shrouded in darkness.
Act when you have clarity without opportunity, and you run into windmills or brick walls.
Act when you have opportunity without clarity, and your results can be spectacular – spectacularly bad or spectacularly good.
When clarity and opportunity converge and you don’t act, this results in unspeakable waste.
But when you act on the convergence of opportunity and clarity you outrun the darkness.
And if you’re among the first to see that convergence? You change the world.
