Geese in Worship

And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying,

“To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever” (Revelation 5:13).

Even the sharks and sheep dogs praise Him.

The black widows and cobras declare His worth.

Taken literally, this would also include the plant kingdom.

Seaweed and sea serpents.

Mountains and moles.

Angels and Alligators.

Everything with life recognizes Him who sits on the throne.

Every created thing worships the Lamb of God, and ascribes Him blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.

That just leaves you and me.

What will we do?

Join with all nature in manifold witness?

Or be stubborn and stupid enough to insist that we’re worthy of anything that belongs to Him?

We are, indeed, stubborn and stupid to not join the throng in praise and worship of the Lord of Lords. Beautiful post, Andy! Blessings!
